'Outside The Box'
Mandy struggles to cope with the absence of her Mother as Jean, in turn toils to keep the family unit above water. The psychological effects on an 8 year old girl are clear to be seen as Julie (Mandy's beloved, deceased sister) makes a ghostly appearance each time Jean leaves Mandy alone. Their capers soon escalate to a fiery crescendo when it is revealed that Julie has orchestrated a clever plan to force Jean and Mandy to an inseparable bond once again.
"Outside the Box" Originally began as a showreel idea by Irene Kelleher. We soon realized that the little gem held more potential as a short comedy sketch, so, we began twisting a few production idea's and "Voila" Written by Irene, the wee film has turned out a little treat.
